3/25 Ambient Occlusion + Mood Board and Paragraph

 Sorry for not attending class last time; here's what I should have had.  Original Final Render:  Ambient Occlusion Render: Composite Render:  Mood Board:  For my next project, I want to create a fantasy environment that incorporates Arabian-inspired architecture. Currently, I have in mind this idea of an ornately decorated temple/palace that's been partially embedded within sand. The potential walkthrough would involve going through the dunes and into the atrium, through the dome ceiling, and end with a shot of the ruined exterior. I'm also thinking about adding some kind of narrative element; possibly an allusion to why said building was destroyed.

3/16 Maya - Final Render

Scaled everything up to reduce noise, but couldn't get my lighting to replicate what I originally had. Also, my print-sized render wasn't matching properly with my render camera. 

3/11 - Maya Modeling + Lighting

 Locked down my reference camera and doing my best to match the original photo as closely as possible; also working on lighting. Edit: lighting feels closer to the reference than my initial attempt, but I don't really know where the noise is coming from.
